Here are some initial observations as compared to RSSOwl, which is my default RSS reader: I was reminded about this after reading a GHacks article mentioning that he used QuiteRSS as his default RSS Reader. Taking another look at this since some time has passed and to see if any improvements were implemented. Also, this app is really large compared to other RSS readers even non-portable ones. The inability to delete feed groups alone is reason enough to not use this. I tried to delete a group of feeds and found it wasn't possible from the interface, although single feeds can be deleted.
#Quiterss for ios Pc
Was unable to do anything on the PC for several minutes. Imported over 300 feeds and the CPU was at 94% with memory about 30MB. Userfriendly wrote:Updated to v0.11.0 since last mentioned. However since it looks like QuiteRSS is being actively developed, I'll keep track of it because I like how it looks. So far only GreatNews, OwlRSS, and FeedDemon are the one's I tested that can handle hundreds of feeds smoothly.

Kinda weird when its advertized to be "Quite fast". GreatNews on the other hand was lightning quick.
#Quiterss for ios update
I imported my opml with 150 feeds and the gui was unresponsive a couple minutes while it tried to update all the feeds. Tried QuiteRSS and it looks nice but it seems a little large at 40MB relative to its features.
#Quiterss for ios full
I'm leaning towards GreatNews, it's full featured and fast.
